Just a guy that likes to build things. A founding SWE from both Edison Scientific and FutureHouse. My favorite languages are TypeScript/JavaScript, C#, Python, GoLang (slowly learning, in my free time). Passionate about all areas in software engineering.
The short version
I'm just a software engineer that likes to touch everything. The majority of the Edison Scientific platform was built by 2 of us and a dream. From the nuts and bolts of the infrastructure, agent harnessing, all the way up to the UI/UX. Now there's over 20 engineers actively working on the product Mike and I started a mere 12 months ago. Alot of complications along the way, and we grew the team exponentially since it's release.
I find most of my passion comes from solving problems on the bleeding edge How do agents get sandboxes, how do you inject secrets into said sandbox without the agent being exposed to secrets, how do you handle real time comms between agent and user with retries/error handling, how do we build a good UX for the users of tomorrow. All things me and my team have solved over the years at Edison Scientific.
This site serves as a love letter that I never expected to publish (my wife convinced me to). Along the journey, I've made connections with three extremely talented engineers which attributed to my continued growth; Mike Skarlinski, Ludovico Mitchener, and Andrew White.

The quality of 'Full-Stack' has degrated over the years -- I have not.
I probably know most of these better than English.
Realtime chat interfaces, service workers, beautifully crafted experiences.
Auth-heavy, realtime-heavy services; OIDC/SSO flows, JWT lifecycles, WebSocket / SSE backends, SDK design.
Production workloads on GCP and AWS, defined in Terraform, ran in Kubernetes.
Pipelines, release automation, artifact management/publishing, and the boring stuff you don't want to do.
The plumbing that makes agents useful; sandboxed runtimes, streaming UX, observability/telemetry.
What have I actually done?

Founding Lead Member of Technical Staff · Edison Scientific
- Core engineer on the platform powering Kosmos, Edison's AI scientist.
- Directly owned three microservices, primary contributor to the main backend and REST service of the platform
- Built realtime product UX — chat streaming, browser notifications, service-worker updates, complex rendering from unpredictable outputs
- Contributed to kubernetes agent-sandbox OSS, and worked to implement it as the backbone for our agent runtime harness
- Drive CI/CD and supply-chain tooling: release automation, artifact telemetry, dependency scanning, and test/lint pipeline architecture.
Founding Member of Technical Staff · FutureHouse
- Creator of HasAnyone (prototype to the primary Platform)
- Liason between Scientists and Engineering to implement meaningful and impactful features
- Built internal tools to help unblock early AI bottlenecks

Things I've built and run

Kosmos Platform
The application platform behind the makings of an AI Scientist. Realtime chat agents, auth and identity management, billing, integrations and e2e testing, sdk, websocket service, screenshot service, reverse proxies, forward proxies, and a ton of other things.
Ellucian Experience Microservice
A microservice which demonstrates how to build custom extensions which integrate and fetch ERP data through a self managed ASP.NET Core REST API, with the front end being an experience card. Demonstrating how to properly handle authentication between a third party JWT and your service layer to securely surface controlled student data.
Agent Sandbox
One of the hardest problems in modern agents is isolated and dedicated infrastructure. One of the hardest problems in software is open source. Actively trying to budge the boulder on both sides while contributing here.
HasAnyone
Predecessor to the Kosmos platform, a labor of love in learning how to manage agent outputs in real time. Using long polling, and a single entrypoint for simple agent communication from a user's query.
Under the hood
This site was built with Blazor and the .NET 10 SDK. Although it has existed for about six years now, I update it every 12–18 months with the latest SDK and some modern tweaks. The design system I use is MudBlazor, with mild customizations to keep their purple-ish/blue-ish tones somewhat unique.
The general premise of this site is for nothing more than to meet pretty cool people.
